Marked

"Marked" is a provocative lifesize male nude sculpture, stone cast with a copper veneer which is hand-engraved with deep 'tattoos' inspired by Pacific Island warriors. Somewhat controversial, because of the combination of warrior markings and what could be seen as a submissive or 'prayer' pose, the piece has been known to raise an eyebrow or two in certain circles. Just as our 'Icarus' piece combines the strength and vulnerability of woman, Marked portrays the courage yet fragility of man. The sculpture is a unique piece with no other versions/editions on offer,priced at £2,600 (not including delivery or installation). The piece is wall-mounted with a single fixing point at the back and is suitable for indoor display only. 

The lifesize piece is based upon a life size male model with approximate dimensions of 81x52x25cm.  Due to the nature of its construction, this piece would require specialist art couriers to ship it overseas safely and we are happy to put you in touch with our preferred couriers. However, we can make arrangements for UK delivery and installation ourselves.
