Fern

This sculpture is from the Feathers & Fern series of hand-engraved lifecast sculptures by Masters & Munn. 'Fern' is made from cold cast copper and intricately engraved with a detailed 'tattoo' of a wild fern. Drawing from the soothing, flowing organic shapes of nature, Masters & Munn use the body as canvas and allow the design to enhance not swamp the figure of the model. The delicate verdigris patina curling in around the edges of the piece contrasts beautifully with the natural warmth of the copper. A truly beautiful and unique piece. 

A lifesize piece, her dimensions come in at approximately 68x41x17cm, and as a unique piece she is priced at £4500 (delivery not included but can be quoted for separately). She can be very easily packaged for shipping for overseas if required. 

This piece is designed to be wall mounted (single fixing point at the back) and is designed for indoor display only. As with all our hand-engraved pieces this is a unique piece, but similarly styled pieces can be commissioned in the pose of your choice, and engravings can be made on copper, brass or aluminium cold casts or onto stone casts with real metal veneers.
