May, Eve & Wallflower II
These three sculptures are just some of the available pieces from our William Morris-inspired series. You can also commission your own sculptures in the pose, pattern and colour scheme of your choice to match your existing home decor or to create custom-designed statement pieces. Each piece is utterly unique, having been hand-cast and intricately hand-painted with designs and colours inspired by Morris and his contemporaries from the Arts & Crafts Movement of Victorian Great Britain. These stone cast pieces are painted in acrylics, UV-resistant inks, guache, pastel-pencils and sealed with a traditional cow's milk glaze to give a subtle lustre to each one.
Our Morris-inspired collection has featured on BBC's 'Show Me the Monet', where the first piece in the collection, 'Wearing William', won CJ Munn a place in the final of the BBC's search for the most exciting new art talent in Britain. It was also featured in Sky Arts series 'Objects of Desire' where the artists were interviewed about their inspiration and their work shown alongside some of the other most desirable objects in the world today.
Each piece is suitable for wall-mounting, and indoor display only. All pieces are life size (May: approximately 38x40x15cm; Eve: 50x28x18cm. Priced at:- £2000 (May), £2400 (Eve). Prices do not include delivery/installation if required. For overseas orders we are happy to recommend a specialist art courier to make sure your chosen sculpture arrives safely.
