‘Fern I’ - available for immediate sale - £4800

Fern I’ is a unique hand-engraved version of ‘Muse’ from ‘The Cunégonde Collection’ that Masters & Munn originally designed for Thomas Hoblyn’s Foriegn & Colonial Show Garden at the 2010 RHS Chelsea Flower Show.

There have been a very limited number of one-off engraved versions of The Cunégonde Collection in both cold cast bronze and cold cast copper, featuring CJ Munn’s freehand fern engravings that furl in sensuous fronds around the curcaveous nude sculptures.

Fern I’ is the only engraved version of ‘Muse’ to have been released and, being made from hardy, yet beautiful cold cast copper, can be displayed in the garden as well as indoors.

The rich, engraved warm copper finish responds to the moisture in an outdoor setting, with bursts of beautiful verdigris spreading from its edges, helping it blend in even more with its natural surroundings. Or you may choose to have it freshly polished to a deeper lustre more reminiscent of antique bronze sculpture.

A classical, elegant look which makes a stunning centrepiece to any room, with the sensuous detail of the ferns caressing her waist, hip and breast to make this piece stand out even more as an asset to any art collection.

Fern I’ has previously been displayed the gardens of Leeds Castle in Kent and High Clandon Estate Vineyards. It is available for £4800 and has dimensions of approximately 50 x 65 x 20 cm and can be shipped anywhere in the world.
